Could California and Massachusetts join the likes of Colorado? Will Florida make it hard for Georgia to ignore a new cash crop growing in the South? This November, many across the country will do more than just vote for a President or a Senator. Eight states will get the choice to give a thumbs up or thumbs down to cannabis, and those  are as heated as the one President.

Tuesday, November 8th, residents of Massachusetts, California, Florida, Arkansas, North Dakota, Arizona, Maine and Nevada will vote on whether their state will go green. Arkansas, Florida and North Dakota are trying to institute medical marijuana, while the other states are chasing Colorado”s money trail and hoping to go full recreational.

While it sounds like smokers paradise, it won’t be that easy to purchase and consume as you please.

It’s a tight race in Massachusetts, with those voting for winning by a slimited margin. California, is going through its own issues. A state that has allowed medical marijuana for years is looking to open the market totally and allow for recreational use.

The issue that many in the Golden State are finding with Prop 64 is not the freedom to use. Prop 64, aka Adult Use of Marijuna Act, has California residents drawn down the middle. The debate isnt over the freedom of use as much as it’s about who would really benefit.  Backed by the likes of Napier founder Sean Parker, Prop 64 seems like a set-up for companies and individuals with big pockets to come into the state and push the smaller growers who have been operating for decades out of business. By November 8th, both supporters and opposition are going to have to put in a lot of work to sway voters there side.

So, there are questions that people are asking before they make a decision this November. Before you hit yes or no, make sure you read the details.
