Willie Nelson has been a proud cannabis user for what seems like forever. His countless battles between the law and his use of cannabis have been documented over the years. None of that has stopped the country music star from waving his green flag loud and proud.
84-year-old Loretta Lynn, like Willie, hasn not slowed down when it comes to music. Not only did she release a new album this year, she’s also on tour. Lynn, who suffers from glaucoma, recently tapped her good friend Willie to use some of his natural medicine.
Willie, who also has his own line of cannabis products, passed Lynn a joint that made her think twice. She recalled the story to People magazine.
“I got glaucoma and they gave me one of these cigarettes. “I took one smoke off of it and it hit me right here in the chest. I like to have died! Glaucoma is just going to have to take over.”
I’m sure she’s not the only person who had to sit down after smoking out with Willie. I mean, dude has been blazing for decades. I’m sure his tolerance isn’t on the level of normal human beings.
