After running back-to-back un-successful Presidential campaigns, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has finally found his place in the sun. Christie has been tasked to chair a commission set to tackle opiod abuse. This shouldn’t be something new to Christie. He’s been a staunch opposer of all drugs, especially medical marijuana.
Christie will team with President Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner as part of what will be called the SWAT team. Lets see if they actually take on the phramaceutical industry or if they spend their time trying to blame cannabis for the explosion in opiod use. P.S., when will we start to call “opiod users” drug addicts?
