By now we know what happened in the Bahamas recently. One-time Hip-Hop star Ja Rule and his business partner Billy McFarland team up to launch a larger than life music festival. Ja Rule and his Billy McFarland didn’t know how to put on a large than life music festival. They didn’t tell that to the large groups of people who paid huge amounts of money to participate in the larger than life festival. That festival would turn into a total disaster. Honestly, by now you should really be able to piece this story together just searching the hashtag #fyrefestival
Since the disaster, many of those who helped bring everything together have been in a race to deliver apologies. None of that is gonna stop any lawsuits though.
As the weekend comes to a close and the story begins to fade in the background like many viral stories do, someone comes along and adds a little bit more fuel to the fire.
