Lifetime and biopic’s about pop stars hasn’t really worked as of yet. Their previous ranks from bad (Toni Braxton) to down-right awful (Aaliyah). The network is going to try its hand at recreating the life of a pop icon.
Searching For Neverland, a biopic that chronicles the later years of the life of Michael Jackson. Based off the 2014 book about his life from his bodyguards Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard Remember The Time: Protecting Michael Jackson In His Final Days. The film has already drawn controversy for their choice of Michael Jackson impersonator Navi to star as Jackson.
