R. Kelly, Beyonce, are a few of the artists who pop in my mind when I think, “who could do a gospel album?” Snoop Dogg, unfortunately, would not have made that list.
As a Christian, I’m taught to look at the person’s heart and not his actions. So when Snoop announced that he was working on a gospel album next while on Dr.Dre’s The Pharmacy show on Beats 1 Radio. Snoop made the announcement while on a promo run for his current project, Neva Left.Â
