Unless you’ve been under a rock for the last few days, then you know about Bill Maher and his kinda funny joke heard around the world. The smart mouth comedian and host of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher found himself in a firestorm of controversy after he said, “he’s a house nigger” in response to a remark that his guest, Nebraska Senator Bill Sasse told him that he can come work in the fields back in Nebraska.
Maher, who has been accused of making crude jokes about race and more in the past, was met with a backlash from many including the likes of Chance the Rapper who Tweeted HBO.
Please @HBO Do Not Air Another Episode Of Real Time With Bill Maher.

Maher did have many supporters who justified his joke as just that, a joke. One of those defenders was Killer Mike. Mike is known to throw his opinion around spent a ton of time on Twitter justifying his support of Maher.
That's Pretty Fucking Funny coming from a comedian white or black. I just wish others will stop using that lame ass mom "N Word" as a sub. https://t.co/nTtvRkXKkF

Bill Maher would eventually apologize.
