The city of Atlanta is missing a key piece of the scene today. Quentin “Grip Plyaz” Hood was one of those rare artists who’s live shows are as ill or more as his recorded material. Grip was influential on many of the artists, producers and Dj’s who are now becoming national names.
Grip passed yesterday after a long fight with cancer. To remember him, I wanted to post the first Grip song I ever heard and saw him perform.
