Early this morning, Tidal and Sprint customers got an early gift when JAY Z‘s 14th studio album, 4:44Â became available to stream.
The 10-track album is one of Hov’s most introspective albums he’s ever released. From his mother’s homosexuality to his infidelity, JAY touches on a lot topics once thought to be taboo.
One subject he speaks about repeatedly is the issues of race and class. One track “The Story of O.J.” hits both those subjects like a hammer. Â The track becomes the first song on the album to be turned into a video.
A Black & White clip, Jay uses stereotypical images of Black people from the 50’s and 60’s to drive home a point.
