Ditch TV: Border Agents Find $200K Worth Of Weed In Fake Dish Network Van

Wish I could get service like this! I have trouble making sure the cable guy to gets to my house on time.

Border Agents in Arizona stumbled upon more than $200k in cannabis in a DISH TV van. It’s safe to say, they weren’t there to check out the reception.

Per HERB

A drug-detecting dog working for the Border Patrol alerted authorities to a van that had stopped at the Ajo Station immigration checkpoint, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. Agents then discovered numerous bricks of apparent Mexican schwag in plain sight. The bricks were wrapped in brown cellophane tape.

The bricks were tested (duh!) and discovered to be cannabis, according to the Border Patrol.

The van, which sported the Dish Network logo, held more than 396 pounds of weed. Agents claimed it had an estimated street value of nearly $199,000.

The driver, a 39-year-old American citizen, was busted on suspicion of smuggling cannabis, agents said.
