With mid-term elections around the corner, a number of candidates are doing whatever it takes to get your vote. Arizona candidate for Governor Noah Dyer found a unique way to smoke out some votes.
Noah is certainly bringing his message to the people this week. Dyer will be holding a raffle in honor of 420.
The campaign will raffle off 4 prizes of $420 each to be given to 4 Arizona medical marijuana cardholders for use at the dispensary of their choice. To enter the raffle, participants simply need to sign Noah’s online petition. People who are not cardholders are also invited to participate. If they are drawn, they will be asked to choose a cardholder to receive the prize.
Dyer, a longtime supporter of the medical marijuana community in the state, Noah has been openly critical of Doug Ducey and other politicians who have harassed cardholders, doctors, dispensaries, and other businesses and members of the cannabis community.
“Doug Ducey likes to treat symptoms instead of root causes. Cannabis should have been a key component of the opioid crisis legislation, but it was off the table. Cannabis prohibition is a key cause of criminal border activity, but he’d rather let the real problem fester and send the National Guard to fight an unnecessary border war. He wants to make it easier for felons to get jobs, but he won’t show real leadership by making sure that peaceful cannabis users aren’t convicted in the first place for violating unjust and outdated cannabis law.”
