Chicago Police Department have taken to New means to opening up the hiring process and maintaining officers they already have.

The Chicago Police Department has quietly relaxed its hiring standards to eliminate past marijuana use as an automatic disqualifier, provided candidates have not smoked pot in the last three years, the chairman of the city’s Human Resources Board disclosed Friday.

Cannabis isn’t the only thing they’re are going to look at in a different manor. Adderral, another drug said to be used by officers without prescription will also be taken into consideration.
