A YouGov study shows that 59% of Americans think that cannabis addiction is a real thing. That is contrary to what many cannabis users would say.
Of the group asked about cannabis addiction, 70% of republicans believed that to be true, while a little over a quarter of Democrats polled believed that.
The most telling stat that jumped out to me were the regional numbers. 61% of residents who live in the West agreed with the statement. 23% of residents in the Midwest disagreed with the statement.
