Media personality and marijuana advocate, Montel Williams will deliver an inspiring Keynote Address at the 2nd Annual Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition (CWCBExpo), October 17-20 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA. In addition, ART420 in association with the family foundation of legendary reggae singer and activist, Peter Tosh, will have a gallery of cannabis inspired art. CWCBExpo Boston is the leading B2B event in the Northeast for the legalized cannabis industry including adult-use, medical and hemp markets.

Williams’ Keynote Address will take place on Saturday, Oct. 20th at 12 Noon, and comes at an important time with Massachusetts as the first state on the East Coast to move forward with adult-use regulation of cannabis. “Massachusetts has gone through a policy making process that stands as an example to other states seeking to implement rational cannabis policy and I’m excited to share my thoughts as a patient and as a cannabis business owner,” said Williams.

Montel Williams earned his media celebrity status as an Emmy Award winning television personality whom Americans invited into their homes for more than 17 years. He is a decorated former naval officer, author, entrepreneur and wellness advocate who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 1999 and has used cannabis products ever since as a medication to manage the disease’s symptoms.  Williams has also helped lead the push for military veterans to legally access medical cannabis without the threat of losing benefits.

Stunning pieces of art from worldwide artists will be part of the ART420 installation on CWCBExpo Boston exhibit floor. The pieces will be creatively dispersed throughout the event so that attendees can be inspired while sourcing products and services from exhibitors and learning about the many layers to success in the cannabis business. The goal of the exhibition is to expose patrons to the influence and impact Peter Tosh has had on the cannabis legalization movement.

“Part of ART420 mission is to explore the impact cannabis has on society and the human experience,” said Tamieka Range, Esq., Co-founder, ART420.

The Peter Tosh Foundation was established to support education and social programs with an emphasis on social justice, cannabis legalization, and other humanitarian causes in Jamaicaand around the world.

“My father was a pioneer in the legalization movement; fomenting social, cultural, and political change around globe in regards to cannabis. The Peter Tosh Foundation and ART420 are excited to not only share his contribution through art but also highlight how this cultural shift is impacting all walks of life,” stated Niambe McIntosh, daughter and administrator of the Estate of Peter Tosh.
