California Governor Jerry Brown gave the greenlight to more cannabis events in the state.
Assembly Bill 2020 expands the type and number of venues than can host licensed cannabis events.
At the moment there are only two state fairgrounds that have been able to host cannabis events. Assembly Bill 2020 will now open up the number of venues, theaters, etc. to be able to host 420 friendly events.Â
If you are a promote in California, don’t get ahead of yourself. The bill will not go into effect until January 1st. As of now, state-administered fairgrounds.Â
This should still be more money for the California economy as more brands will definitely target the state for events.
