Mike Tyson continues to evolve. The former heavyweight champion and boxing legend has given us stage plays and cartoons. His next move will involve him and a weed farm.
It was reported earlier this that Tyson invested in some acres of land outside of Las Vegas that he planned to turn into a weed resort. With that play in motion, Tyson is now looking at Hollywood.
According to Page Six, Tyson is currently shopping a scripted comedy about his weed farm called, “Rolling with the Punches”
Reportedly, Mike is shooting the show at Tyson Ranch office in El Segundo, Calif.
Tyson told me the show, like Larry David’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” is loosely based on his life.
“It’s simple. I’m playing a retired boxer who is growing marijuana,” Tyson said. “It’s basically me acting like me, so people can get a look at what my life could be like in different scenarios.”
Tyson’s business partner Rob Hickman a sizzle reel has already been delivered to the top networks and expects the show to be on the air in five months.
