Meek Mill Championships
Since walking out of jail the last time, the music world has been clamouring for new music from Meek Mill. While we did get Legends Of Summer shortly after his release, but fans of the Illadelph native really have been waiting for a new album.
He delivered with Championships.19-tracks deep, the album features guest appearances from JAY Z, Rick Ross, Cardi B, Drake and a slew of others.
His single, “Dangerous” featuring Jeremih & PnB Rock is already dominating the radio. It won’t be long before Meek clocks another #1 album.
Pee Wee Longway State of The Art
Whether you know it or not, Pee Wee Longway might be one of the most influential artists in Atlanta.
Known for his glamorous trap raps, everyone from Gucci Mane to Wiz Khalifa, have tapped Pee Wee to lend his unique style and lingo to add extra flavor to whatever they we’re cooking. The head chef went back to the kitchen to prepare a full meal for his fans.
Pe State of the Art features guest vocals from Maxo Cream, Offset, Gucci Mane, Young Nudy, Plies and production from 808 Mafia, Mustard, ATL Jacob and more, SOTA will definitely get a lot of run in the trap.
Earl Sweatshirt Some Rap Songs
Odd Future’s own Earl Sweatshirt comes through with his new L.P., Some Rap Songs. Earl stirred up buzz early this week when in an interview with Vulture, made some less than complimentary remarks that many felt we’re targeted towards Eminem and Kanye West.
Slick comments aside, Earl’s music is enough to stir a conversation. For Some Rap Songs, features a collab with New York rapper/producer Navy Blue and his parents!
Some Rap Songs is 15 records of Earl being Earl. Expect sharp wordplay and a ton of moments where you say to yourself, “run that back.”
The Joint Cheefs J.A.R.S.
CashColorCannabis introduced The Joint Cheefs a few months back after stumbling onto the “N-High-C” video online. Consisting of Geo the Rican, Loudpack Ralph and Sonny Bluenote, the trio proudly totes the “weed rapper” flag with no apologies. The crew rolls up a pack then delivers hard raps. In that order.
Their latest, J.A.R.’s is a testament to that. Featuring production from Killavic, Santana With the Ear, Raydo Beatz, Monstrosity Productions, Kush Billionz, Jaymz the Dj and The Firzt Donz and a lone guest appearace from Greeneyez, J.A.R.S. is defintely #music2smoke2
