NYC senator and badass Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says she doesn’t care if the President smokes marijuana in office.
TMZ caught with Ocasio-Cortez and asked about Sen. Kamala Harris‘ remakrs about smoking weed and whether or not she was cool with a President who consumes.
“Yeah, I don’t care,” replied Ocasio-Cortez, who brought on a former lobbyist for the Marijuana Policy Project as a key staffer last month.
She was also asked about politicans growing love for cannabis.
“I’m glad we’re moving toward a more just position as a party and that we’re moving to legalize marijuana—but not just legalize marijuana, but to really make up for the damages done by the war on drugs and the people that were unjustly incarcerated by the war on drugs,” she said.
