Every year since 2002, marketing company Distinctive Assets has independently assembled lavish custom gift bags for the top 25 Academy Award nominees, and this year the ever-popular “Everyone Wins” gift bags will include products from Coda Signature, a Colorado-based maker of craft cannabis products and gourmet edibles.
Every nominee for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress and Best Director will receive one of these bags, whether or not they take home a statue. The luxurious Coda Signature products featured in the gift bags includecraft edibles, concentrates and topicals that are already available in Colorado—and, as of spring 2019, in California. In adherence with state laws, the gift-bag samples aren’t cannabis infused.
Nominees will receive Coda’s hand-painted truffles (named Best Edible in the High Times U.S. Cannabis Cup), chocolate bars including the popular Coffee & Doughnuts flavor (one of America’s top three selling edibles, per LeafLink) and a decadent Symphony Bath Bomb.

Because cannabis products cannot be shipped across state lines, Coda Signature sample products in the “Everyone Wins” gift bags will be uninfused. However, Coda Signature will include a unique code for each recipient to create their own customized package of THC-infused products to be hand-delivered through a licensed delivery service soon after Coda Signature’s official California launch.
