The second annual CannaMéxico World Summit hosted by former President of Mexico Vicente Fox, will take place April 25thand 26th, at Centro Fox in Leon, Mexico.

“CannaMéxico was created to be an epicenter for cannabis advancement in Latin America. This is a space to share ideas, where people can network and develop policies to elevate the industry,” stated former President of Mexico Vicente Fox.

The international summit is focused on showing the tremendous potential of Mexico’s budding cannabis industry. Furthermore, high-profile industry experts will seek to connect relevant stakeholders and provide information on legalization, worldwide market opportunities, medical advances, innovation and overall wellbeing.

Topics include legislation and regulation, eco-growth, medicine and science, security and industrial opportunities. Exhibitors will be on hand providing a wealth of information for those interested in staking a claim in the international cannabis industry.

CannaMéxico supports a responsible and safe global cannabis environment. The CannaMéxico World Summit is expected to draw more than 2,000 attendees with dozens of exhibitors in the fields of science, research, finance, medicine, government, technology, agro-industry, and manufacturing. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with entrepreneurs, investors, policy makers, as well as health and regulatory officials.

There are nearly 11.7 million potential medical cannabis patients in Mexico out of a population of approximately 123.5 million people. As a whole, the Latin American cannabis sector could reach a valuation of $12.7 billion by 2028, according to data and market intelligence source Prohibition Partners.

Latin America has the potential to be the primary international supplier of cannabis due to its ability to grow and export at a significantly lower cost when compared to the U.S. and Canada.
