Atlanta’s Hartsfield Airport is one of the busiest in the country. TSA agents weren’t so busy that they couldn’t stop a major drug smuggling ring.
Last week, agent nabbed more than 100 pounds of weed being illegally moved through the airport.
GBI confirmed that the weed was coming from California with Atlanta being the final destination.
The GBI is also concerned cannabis vaping pens are also being smuggled in. Agents said some of the pens claim to be organic THC, but are instead synthetic pot.
