The National Basketball League has suspended Indiana Pacers forward Tyreke Evans from the league for the anti-drug program.
Under the Anti-Drug Program, Evans is eligible to apply for reinstatement in two years.
The NBA, NBA teams, and the Players Association are prohibited from publicly disclosing information regarding the testing or treatment of any NBA player under the Anti-Drug Program, other than to announce a player’s suspension or dismissal from the league.
The Pacers were informed of the suspension today.
Tyreke Evans was once the top high school player in his class. He went on to play one-year at the University of Kentucky before being drafted by the Sacremento Kings in 2009.
Over his career, he averaged 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
