Grand Rapids Michigan native Willie the Kid has long time held a place among Hip-Hop purists as a “real emcee.”
The first act signed to Dj Drama’s Aphilliates imprint, Will’s rep as a real lyricist grew so much that Busta Rhymes took time out to discuss how dope he was on song.Â
As the industry changed, so did Will. Moving out of the major label machine, Willie has been indie and thriving for sometime now. It’s his new businesses that would peak the interest of many right now.Â
