Rapper OMB Peezy has partnered with Oakland-based cannabis brand management, distribution and delivery company The Higher Collection to launch his first cannabis-inspired lifestyle brand named “Overkill Purple.”
“I’m looking forward to building with the Higher Collection and getting quality cannabis to the streets,” said OMB Peezy. “Launching Overkill Purple has been a goal since I entered the industry and doing this with a black-owned and operated company makes the deal even more meaningful.”
The first iteration of the Overkill Purple brand launches on 4-20 with the release of the “Purplato” an indoor, Indica dominate hybrid strain crafted to match the signature laid back and relaxed vibe of the Alabama native. Purplato will be available in 7 oz pre-packaged flower through the Higher Collection delivery and distribution services.

In addition to the strain launch, THC will be partnering with OMB Peezy on an expanded cannabis line, paraphernalia, community education, cooking demonstrations, and more.
