It is Friday and according to the government, you shouldn’t have sxxt to do!

25-years ago, “Friday” hit the big screens. April 26th, 1995, Ice Cube and Dj Pooh unleashed what would become one of the top comedies in the last two decades.

The stoner comedy about two friends who get caught in the middle of a drug deal gone bad and a neighborhood bully, grossed almost $7 million dollars in its first week, good for the #2 spot that year.

Featuring an ensemble cast that included Bernie Mack, John Witherspoon, and Nia Long and introduced a new comic talent named Chris Tucker “Friday” would go on to spawn multiple sequels, giving platforms to more new comedic faces.
