Stalley talks ‘Pariah’, Staying Creative During Quarantine, 420 & Hoops

Artists today are enjoying their freedom. After decades of talented acts complain about lack of control over their music.

Today, it’s nothing to see an artist signed to a major leave and search out a path as an indie act. Being indie comes with more work and more risk comes with more control.

Ohio emcee Stalley can attest to that. After making a name for himself as an up-and-coming indie act, he would sign with Rick Ross and his MMG imprint.

After a few guest appearances, Stalley left the ship Rozay built and headed back to the underground world that made him.

Since then, he’s put out records through his Blue-collar Musc Imprint and enjoying life.

Stalley released his latest album, Pariah.

While on quarantine, we got the chance to speak with Stalley about leaving the majors, jazz influence over his music, how he spent 420, The Last Dance, and more.
