Recently, the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalist, the first and oldest association of black journalists in the country, brought the CannAtlantic Cannabis Conference to life.
Brought together community leaders, policymakers, business owners, media professionals, patients, and curious minds from across the Mid-Atlantic Region to discuss the need for more education and media coverage on cannabis legalization and ways we can improve our collective understanding of these ongoing dynamics happening in the industry.
One of the panels for the day, “The State of Cannabis Media” featured CashColorCannabis Podcast host Mehka King.
Moderated by Grasslands founder Ricardo Baca, Mehka spoke about how to catch the attention of media and more with cannabis policy reporter for Politico Mona Zhang, and Boston Globe cannabis reporter Dan Adams.
