While many of us are still on pins and needles waiting to hear results (or aftermath) of the Presidential election, a few states are celebrating some big local wins.

New Jersey, Arizona, Montana and South Dakota all voted to legalize recreational cannabis markets!

The win could generate more than $2.5 billion dollars by 2024 according to Jeff Smith with MJ Biz Daily.

The addition of New Jersey, Arizona, Montana and South Dakota goes a little further to divide the country as this now pushes the number of states where adult use is legal grows.

Also worth noting, Oregon voted to decriminalize all drugs. Thanks to Measure 110, anyone in possession of small amounts of cocaine, heroin, MDMA, cannabis, or any other drug would receive a fine rather than lengthy jail time.

Oregon also made use of psilocybin (mushrooms) legal. The District of Columbia voted to decriminalize psychedelics.
