A Toast to Community: Cannaversations Brunch Brings Culture to the Table

Last year, CashColorCannabis had the opportunity to attend the inaugural Cannaversations Brunch. The event, hosted by Drudys Ledbetter and Leslie Pascual, brought together many of Boston’s most influential cannabis voices to Rose Bar in the South End for an afternoon of meaningful conversations and camaraderie.

This year’s edition was even better. The brunch started with a live discussion featuring artist Jerry Joseph, the curator of the High Black Art series. Joseph explained his creative process and the inspiration behind his cannabis-infused artwork.

In a twist from last year, I transitioned from interviewer to interviewee. Drudys and I sat down for a conversation about my journey with cancer, the launch of CashColorCannabis magazine, and what it felt like to return to my hometown.

With DJ Motivate Merren setting the vibe, and sponsors Zeb Boutique, Levia, Primitiv, Terp Bae, Rolling Relief, Pride Packz, Stem Garden Club, the day truly celebrated the community.
