Snoop Dogg Announces New Gospel Album “Altar Call”
One thing that Snoop Dogg is going to do is make a career change.
I can attest to that. As someone who has grown up with Snoop since his first music video debuted on national TV, I, like many, have seen The Dogg Father evolve. He’s been a rapper, a singer, an actor, a chef, and a host for the Olympics. When it comes to music, he’s dabbled in everything from funk to R&B to reggae. That’s a lot for one person—unless you’re Snoop.
Snoop recently announced his latest change, which is that of gospel artist.
Snoop took to social media to announce it.
“April 27, I’m dropping a gospel album on Death Row Records. It’s called Altar Call. You heard it first. A gospel album, April 27. God is good. Won’t he do it?” via HNH
HNH obtained information on the album’s features. It looks like Jamie Foxx, Robert Glasper, Denaun Porter, Jazze Pha, Charlie Bereal, Jane Handcock, and October London are a few of the voices who will be joining Snoop on his next musical adventure.
Are you hyped for a Snoop Dogg gospel album? Can you smoke to this?
