Why You Should Be at Black Cannabis Week 2025
Get ready for a reunion like no other.
Every September, Black Cannabis Week turns Philadelphia into the epicenter of Black cannabis culture, business, and advocacy. This year is no different.
BCW 2025 kicked off on September 21 and will run through the 28th, bringing together policy makers, entrepreneurs, advocates, and everyday consumers for a week that’s about more than just cannabis.
This year’s theme is simple: entrepreneurship, innovation, wellness, education, and policy. From the Daily Dose Tour earlier in the week to the upcoming three-day Cannabis Opportunities Conference at Temple University, BCW is packed with moments designed to inform, inspire, and connect.
And trust me—this isn’t just another cannabis expo. BCW is rooted in community. It’s where you can attend a policy breakfast with elected officials one morning, and by evening be front row at the Blaze the Runway Fashion Show. Saturday will feature panels, workshops, a vendor expo, and an expungement clinic, giving people real resources to rebuild their lives. Sunday wraps things up with Puff & Pose, reminding us wellness is always part of the mission.
CashColorCannabis is proud to be part of the week in a special way. In collaboration with DACO, Ascend, and Black Cannabis Week, we launched The Black Imprint, a new project spotlighting Black voices and contributions across the cannabis space.
If you’ve ever wondered where culture and cannabis meet, BCW is the answer. It’s a week that educates, uplifts, and makes sure Black communities have a seat—and a say—in shaping the future of this industry.
So if you’re in Philly, you already know what to do. And if you’re not, this is your excuse to make the trip. Black Cannabis Week is where conversations happen, deals get made, and movements grow. Don’t just read about it—be in the room.
