Culinary & Cannabis’ CannaSpa Wellness Lounge Draws 300+ Guests for an Evening of Music, Mental Health, and Plant Medicine
Culinary & Cannabis’ CannaSpa Wellness Lounge: Mental Health, Music & Plant Medicine welcomed over 300 guests to The East Angel in Downtown Los Angeles on Thursday, January 29, 2026, for an evening that seamlessly blended luxury self-care, cultural conversation, and community connection.
The event was produced by Culinary & Cannabis founder Tamara Anderson in partnership with Laura Seddon of Penny Lane Productions and Miko Ware of The CannaBusinessman. Held during Grammy Week, the two-part experience brought together celebrity guests, wellness brands, and plant-medicine advocates for an intimate, design-forward gathering spotlighting Black-owned and POC-owned wellness brands.
VIP guests included Vic Mensa, Princeton Perez, Fredro Starr, E.D.I. Mean, DJ Carisma, Lizzy Jeff, Shirley Ju, and Somaya Reece. The atmosphere was further elevated by live musical performances from A N I I I Y A, Tyler Therapy, and MacKenzie, whose artistry provided a soulful backdrop to the wellness experience.

Guests enjoyed a curated menu of wellness activations including massage services by Royal Treatment Wellness, facials by Dollskin LA, and an oxygen bar experience by Ell Marie Spa. A special appearance by the Jack Herer/Weedmaps bus added to the evening’s energy. Participating brands included 93 Boyz, Kraving, Haydar, Cookie Dip, Kesi, Zatix, and Haus Mean Ager.
“This was my comeback event after cancer, and after you almost lose your life, you appreciate it all the more,” said Tamara Anderson, Founder of Culinary & Cannabis. “It inspired me even more to make self-care a priority. With the current state of the world, this was my hug to the plant medicine community. The connection between music, mental health, and plant medicine is powerful, and I wanted to connect those dots in real time. I am so grateful to every brand that trusted my team and every guest who joined us. I am simply loving life.”
The impact of the event was felt throughout the lounge. “I had a great time at the CannaSpa Gifting Suite—I tried fresh juices, received reiki, and experienced the oxygen bar,” said Vic Mensa. During a conversation with Lizzy Jeff regarding his vision for the industry, Mensa noted, “Most of my visioning is being in alignment with my purpose right now.”
Princeton Perez added, “It’s been so cool; everybody’s energy is calming, so it’s been fun.”
CannaSpa Wellness Lounge continues Culinary & Cannabis’ mission to create safe, elevated spaces for healing, education, and stigma-free exploration at the intersection of wellness and plant medicine.
