See You Sooner: 48-Hours in Oklahoma City

Recently, Mehka with CashColorCannabis took a trip to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This wasn’t to see the Thunder play, but I was there to see the Thunder and everything I could experience in the city for 48 hours. 

This trip was courtesy of the amazing Thunder Walker. Owner of Proud Mary’s Dispensary in OKC, publisher of Pressure Magazine, and host of the Clawback Conversations, Thunder invited us to see the city up close. 

Though I had a chance to check out an amazing event hosted by Bodega Boyz, enjoy some good food (special shout-out to Fixin’s in Tulsa), and sample some fine flowers courtesy of D Farms, and visit some retail shops like T-Tone in Tulsa and Green Goddess in Broken Arrow, I was in OKC for another reason. 

I was asked to be a guest on the Clawback Conversation. Hosted by Thunder herself, the event brings people from across the industry into her store to share their stories. This weekend, I was in the hot seat. 

The conversation was great. I got to explain how CashColorCannabis came to be, what led me to be a writer, and more. Filmed in front of a live audience, customers were still able to come into the shop as normal. Some even grab one of the custom pre-rolls they produced to commemorate the night.
