Let’s Talk About Cannabis and Healthcare Summer Visibility Tour Ahead of the Release of Healthcare Cannot Manage What It Cannot See
Nurse executive, cannabis and healthcare strategist Drudys Ledbetter, BSN, RN announces the launch of Let’s Talk About Cannabis and Healthcare, a national summer visibility tour and virtual conversation series leading up to the release of her forthcoming book, Healthcare Cannot Manage What It Cannot See.
Beginning May 28, the series will convene healthcare leaders, clinicians, researchers, policy experts, pharmacists, and cannabis industry voices for a timely and necessary public conversation about one of healthcare’s most urgent operational challenges: the growing gap between cannabis use in patient care and healthcare systems’ ability to document, communicate, and respond to it consistently.
The summer tour opens with a featured conversation with Dasheeda Dawson and continues throughout the season with live virtual sessions designed to increase awareness, deepen interdisciplinary dialogue, and advance practical solutions for thoughtful cannabis integration across healthcare.Ledbetter’s upcoming book, Healthcare Cannot Manage What It Cannot See, explores what she describes as the cannabis documentation gap in healthcare and presents a framework for operational visibility, clinician preparedness, and patient-centered integration in the era of Schedule III.
